Cousins Youth Outdoor Development (CYOD) is under the leadership of cousins whose love of all outdoor activities stemmed from their fathers and uncles sharing their own love for these activities. John Mack, Jake Longsworth and Gary Ginter (Gary left, John middle and Jake right pictured) are indeed the 3 cousins who have been fishing and hunting as long as they can remember and are now encouraging kids to get outside and involved in the outdoors.

Their own development and devotion in sharing, mentoring and sponsoring youth in these activities was the driving force in creating the non-profit group in April of 2024.

The Mission – to inspire and empower area youth to embrace the joys of hunting and fishing. We believe that these timeless outdoor activities foster personal growth, environmental stewardship and a deep connection to nature. We aspire to cultivate a love for nature, promote responsible practices and build a supportive community that empowers young people to engage in these time-honored traditions.

The Goal is simple – Through fundraising and outreach, we aim to create opportunities that inspire confidence, teamwork and a lifelong appreciation for the great outdoors.

Together, we believe we are cultivating the next generation of responsibile outdoor enthusiasts.
